Hello!
I am a British freelance photographer and food writer based in Oslo.
I live in Oslo with my Norwegian wife, our two young girls, and a growing infestation of Bratz dolls.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. As they say in Norway, "velkommen!"
Great blog. No profile photo? Maybe the next time I am in Oslo you will let me take your photo!

love reading this and all the food!
ReplyDeletethis website is easily of the better and more descriptive ones of 'em all in reviewing restaurants. hearty congrats on the superb work!
ReplyDeleteCongrats,great blog! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWell, Michelin proved you right out Maaemo . I truly enjoy reading your enthusiastic and well written journals.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoy reading your blog, although it is with great envy - I long for the seafood at home, as I am stranded in Kazakhstan. What better way to imagine oneself away from mutton and into Maaemo than to follow your nibblings!
ReplyDeleteHello British bloke married to a lovely Norwegian girl!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog, and have quite enjoyed many of your posts. Question....
A girlfriend and I are sneaking away from the kids and the men in our lives for a weekend of shopping in Oslo. (We live in Lillehammer) Where would you suggest we dine Friday evening? Maaemo looks enticing, but I am slightly worried Dream Baby will not let me out of the house again if we go there;)
Kimberly (American married to a Norwegian Dream)
So glad I found this blog- really helpful, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog in desperate search for fresh meat. You have some useful links about/in/around Oslo. I will give them a try but I am severely getting depressed due to the food-quality here.
ReplyDeleteMy better half (a norwegian) and me just moved from Germany to Norway and frankly both of us feel it was a mistake. Strangely enough our destination is London. So we are doing the reversed thing that you guys did.
I'll keep following this blog and will make another post if there is anything new I discover myself here that is worth mentioning - foodwise.
regards
Nice work...gg!
ReplyDeletebtw, no romanian restaurant in Oslo?! :)
Anyone know of a bring-your-own wine/beer restaurant in Oslo?
